Tattoos!

I have officially decided on what my tattoos are going to look like! There aren’t that many, just 5 ;)

1. “Unhindered” scripted on the inner part of my outer ear, trailed by a bright blue bird. This I will be getting, along with my little sister’s matching, when I leave for college.

2. ἔποικος -Greek for “sojourner”, meaning not of this land, on my inner right wrist.

3. Jesus fish with a cross inlaid, on the top of my left foot, so you can see it through my Chacos ;)

4. Pointe shoe heart on my ankle, with quote wrapping around as an ankle bracelet (see picture attached) “Dancing with the feet is one thing, but dancing with the soul is another”

5. Small, black cross on top of my right thumb. This one is not definitely decided on, but is a definite possibility.

Peace.

I got a new job!

I’m still working in the ER, but I am ow working at Finders Keepers as well. It is at a little boutique downtown and is a wonderful job! I am out of school and as free as a bird (very metaphorically speaking) ;) I have Marly, Nathan, and Justin.. That’s about it. My FWBs are all out of town for the summer and it’s getting a little lonely. But on a brighter note, I’m going to PCB in a week with Marly and can’t wait to celebrate her 17th! She’s getting her second hole in her ear done while we’re there, and I’ll be getting my cartiledge done :D Also, I’ve found another tattoo that I’ll be getting! My sister and I will be getting matching ones next summer when I go off to college, and Justin is going with me to get several more later on :) getting any tattoos? I’d love to see them!

Peace.

Finals week!

Things have been so crazy busy! I have been busting it getting ready for various finals and AP tests. Unlike most people, I have two weeks of finals, due to additional AP tests. Tomorrow is the first, being Psychology. Although I love it, it is by far one of the toughest classes I’ve taken, and I’ll be very thankful for it to be over. The next is Friday, US History. Then my school finals come next week, with the American Lit AP test right smack in the middle of it. So ready to have it all done so I can party! Gunna celebrate right and welcome summer in with a smile.

Peace.

Today I donated my hair to Pantene Beautiful Lengths!! It feels amazing and very adorable! My hair stylist, Mrs. Suzanne, did an wonderful job!!

P.S. Don’t ever expect to see me with long hair again!

Prom pictures, finally! Me and Nathan: best friends, great together. He’s an angel and is always the life of the party!

News!

Well, it has been quite a while since we last spoke! Much has happened the past couple weeks. This week has been spring break and I have been very productive! I made my prom dress, bought some cute new clothes, and spent lots of time out by the pool. Yesterday, me and Nathan went to order his tux for prom and ordered his boutonniere/my corsage. We are going to look so spiffy!  We also went to the nursing home to play bingo and had an Easter egg hunt! I introduced him to all my friends :) Then we had Secret Church with David Platt! Platt always astounds. So much biblical knowledge was gained, but the highlight was the a capella singing of “It is Well With My Soul” to end the night. Absolutely worth every hour of lost sleep!

A couple of weeks ago, I spoke with Steve, the head of the Africa team. We came to the conclusion that now is not the right timing for me to go to Africa. God is still preparing both me and Africa to be united, so I will continue to wait on His time, as Paul did with going to Rome.

Though I might not be going to Africa this year, I will still be going to Belize at the end of the summer. Our team is busy making preparations and raising funds. We will be going July 22-29 to put on a VBS and a futball ministry for the underprivileged kids who are angels!! We are all very excited, but most of all prayerful. As always, I’ll keep you all updated!

Peace.

The Len Foote Hike Inn, pt. 1

Another easy, but fabulous adventure. This time with the whole family!

Another adventure!

This long weekend held yet another adventure for the Cobb family. We went to the Len Foote Hike Inn at Amicalola Falls. It was full of hilarity and bonding. The hike was fairly easy, but wanted to start Mom and Leah off easy. Didn’t want to scare them off too soon! Fun was had by all, and we hate to see it go. Back to reality! [boo hiss] Pictures will be up shortly!
